CURRENT WORK
Enneagram: choreographed, directed and edited by Victoria J. Kreutzer

I am currently working on a dance film project titled Enneagram. This 13-minute long work is a composition of nine sections (symbolizing the nine personality types in the Enneagram personality model). Having a psychology degree has propelled me to take interest in the human mind, how it is wired, and how it influences personality and human behavior. Each dancer was asked to take the Enneagram test, and was casted into each section that is representative of their type. The dancers were prompted with choreography as well as structured and unstructured improv during the process of filming.
Overall, I wanted to create a piece of work that feels relatable. My goal is that this film stands as a reflection of people as a whole.
DIRECTING FILM
The work showed below showcases some dance films that I had choreographed, directed and edited myself. I started working on independent projects using film a couple years ago. I was privileged enough to be inspired and supported by several filmmakers, who have worked tireless hours in order to help bring my vision to life. I could not be more grateful to have learned the skill sets that I have through them--especially during the pandemic.

World Unphased by Danny and The Fond
This past year I have had the privilege to work with musician Daniel Parente and filmmaker Victoria Francesca on a music video during the beginning of the pandemic. This music video showcases my choreography as well as some of my dance performance abilities. My favorite part about working on this project was trying to collaborate with the artistic team all while navigating a time in which we all had to social distance and isolate from one another. Art cannot be halted or diminished. All we can do is adapt and learn. This music video is a product of that COVID-19 blessing.
